Hannah Mary Peel, born 27â¯Augustâ¯1985 in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, is a Northern Irish composer and multiâinstrumentalist who began her musical journey with classical training on piano and violin before venturing into electronic music. Her first single, "Hey Santa!", released 13â¯Decemberâ¯2010, introduced her to the scene, and she followed with the 2011 EP The Broken Wave and 2013 Nailhouse. Hannah Peelâs debut studio album, Awake But Always Dreaming, arrived in Septemberâ¯2016, showcasing atmospheric synth textures and lyrical depth. Subsequent releases-Mary Casio: Journey to Cassiopeia (2017), The Deceived (2020), Fir Wave (2021), and Insomnia (2024)-expanded her catalogue, drawing critical praise and chart positions in the UK independent charts.
