Biography

Graham Patrick "Kirby" Gregory, born on March 11, 1953 in Wallingford, Berkshire, England, is a British rock guitarist who began playing guitar at seven. He moved to London in 1969 and formed the band Armada with Steve Emery. In 1972, he joined Curved Air and played on their 1973 album Air Cut. After leaving Curved Air, Gregory was part of a group assembled by Fleetwood Mac manager Clifford Davis to perform as Fleetwood Mac in the United States in 1974; the tour collapsed due to audience disapproval. He then formed Stretch and wrote their hit single "Why Did You Do It?", which reached number 16 in the UK Singles Chart in November 1975. In 1978, Gregory released a solo album Composition.
