Biography

The son of a farmer and a schoolteacher, Graham Barham is a country singer from Oak Ridge, a Louisiana village with a population of 124. He began by singing in church, then learned to play guitar, drawing inspiration for his songs from the natural world around him. At eighteen, the musician moved to Nashville and co-wrote with Beau Bailey and Kasey Tindall the song "Preachers Need People", produced by Will Bundy, which became a viral hit in 2022. His style, infused with country, pop, rock and rap, attracted the attention of Virgin Records, which signed him via its subsidiary Walk Off Records. A string of tracks followed, including "Break It in a Bar" (2022), "Beer in My Bed" (2023) and "Two Broke Hearts", featured on the Breakin' Down and North of Hell EPs, released in 2023. In 2024, "Lights on Nobody's Home" ushers in a banner year, followed by "Bayou Boy", the duet "Straight to My Heart" with Lauren Watkins, "Whiskey Whiskey", "Shoot the Lock " and "Something to Chase", which, along with "Lie to Me", join the list of songs on her debut album Oil Money, released in 2025 and from which the title track is taken, ranked 42nd in the Country Songs charts.
