Biography

The American hard rock band Goodbye June was formed by cousins Landon Milbourn, Brandon Qualkenbush, and Tyler Baker in 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee. Inspired by iconic acts like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, as well as modern bands like Kings of Leon and the Black Keys, Goodbye June earned national attention in 2016, when the debut single "Oh No" reached Number 30 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. The song appeared on the band's first EP, Danger in the Morning, which was released in 2016, as well as the full-length debut album Magic Valley, which was released the following year. A second album, Community Inn, arrived in 2019. Two years later, Goodbye June began releasing songs from a new record, with singles like "Step Aside," "Three Chords," and "See Where the Night Goes" appearing throughout 2021. The record itself, See Where the Night Goes, was released the following year and became the band's most successful album to date, both at home and aboard. In America, See Where the Night Goes reached Number 128 on the Billboard 200 and Number 12 on the Current Hard Music chart. It fared better overseas, where the album hit Number 1 on the UK Hard Rock Chart, Number 33 on the UK Albums Chart, and Number 20 on Germany's Top 100 Albums chart.
