Biography

Gomer Edwin Evans, born on September 24, 1947, in Cardiff, Wales, is a Welsh musician and composer. He studied classical guitar and music theory at the Cardiff College of Music. At 19, Gomer Edwin Evans began his professional career as a musician and composer, initially working as a studio musician. In the 1970s, he toured the USA playing folk music before discovering street music in New York, which led to extensive touring across Europe. In 1981, Gomer Edwin Evans started composing relaxation music, releasing his debut album, Music for Beauty, in 1990. Throughout the 1990s and beyond, he released numerous albums, including Music for Lovers (1992), Boogschutter (1993), and Nature Healing (1993). He has also composed music for television and film, as well as songs.
