Gohi (ê³ í), born September 19, 1999, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and musician known for his emotive blend of pop, rock, and emo influences. He began his musical career as the leader and vocalist of the pop/rock band Vanillare, which he formed in 2019, debuting with the EP Hollywood Fever that explored themes of hope amid sadness. Gohi gained recognition through competitions such as No Mercy Uprising and Be The Star 3 in 2023, and continued to expand his career with a Japanese tour in 2024 and a semifinal placement in Emergenza Japan. After Vanillare transitioned to a project with guest musicians called âGood Hands,â Gohi announced his solo career in February 2025, releasing singles like "People Fall in Love", "Nirvana", and "ê·¸ê² ëëê¹, Pt.2", as well as the album Smoking with the Angel released in 2024. Known for his signature melancholic guitar riffs, dynamic stage presence, and involvement in visual art direction, Gohi draws inspiration from personal experiences and societal observations to craft music that resonates deeply with audiences both domestically and internationally.
