MGFF, short for MacGuffin from Alfred Hitchcock's film "Psycho," is a South Korean indie rock band that debuted in November 2016 with the digital single "Curtain Call." The band consists of three members: Hebron (vocals and guitar), SNOOQ (drums), and OOHI (bass). Since their debut, they have been actively involved in competitions, achieving notable successes such as placing in the TOP 6 at the 2018 Indistance, winning the KT&G Sangsangmadang Band Discovery, and receiving Gold Awards at the Penta Super Rookie, the BuRock Battle of the Busan International Rock Festival, and the Nanjang Find the Hidden Gem in 2018 and 2019, respectively. After taking a hiatus in 2019 due to mandatory military service, they returned in 2021 and have since been active in the indie music scene, performing at major events like the Great Seoul Invasion. Their single "Couch Potato," released on December 26, 2024, entered Melon's Top 500 chart at number 301 on January 9 of the following year.
