Biography

Glenn Alan Medeiros was born on June 24, 1970 in Hawaii (USA). Of Portuguese descent, he began singing at the age of ten as a host on his father's tour bus. Noticed in a local singing contest, he recorded a cover of George Benson's "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" in 1987. The single only reached number twelve in the U.S., but number one in Great Britain and France. Despite this hit, the albums Glenn Medeiros (1987) and Not Me (1988) enjoyed only limited success. Her faltering career was revived in France in 1989 with her duet "Un Roman d'amitié " with Elsa, which took her to number one in the Top 50. In 1990, it was the more rhythmic duet with Bobby Brown, "She Ain't Worth It", that finally took him to the top of the Billboard charts. After this period of success, Glenn Medeiros continued to compose for other artists, but above all went to university to undertake serious studies. Now a teacher, Glenn Medeiros runs a school in Honolulu and still performs a few singing tours in a Waikiki hotel.
