Biography
Girl Group is a British-Norwegian indie pop/alternative band based in Liverpool. Formed in 2023 after its members met at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), the group comprises Katya Birkeland, Lily Christlow, Thea Gundersen, Mia Halvorsen and Maria Tollisen (four Norwegians and one Briton). Their first singles include "Yay! Saturday" (2025), followed by tracks such as "Flink Pike", "She Goes", "Shut Your Mouth (Sometimes)", "Rage Song" and "Superdrug". Their debut EP, Think They're Looking, Let's Perform, was released in June 2025, followed by a remixed version. In 2026, the band released their debut album, Little Sticky Pictures.
