Biography

Gipsy.cz was discovered when it took part in the Glastonbury festival in 2007. The band, led by Radoslav Banga (vocals, beatbox, composer), hails from the Czech Republic, and their blend of hip-hop and gypsy sounds is a veritable invitation to party. Romano Hip-Hop in 2006 and Reprezent in 2008 introduce us to the world of Gipsy.cz, who are defending the Czech Republic's chances at Eurovision 2009. The only regret is that the lyrics, which mix Rum, Czech and a few words of English, are difficult to understand.
