Biography
Keith Rankin is an American electronic musician and visual artist born in the United States. Rankin performs under the alias Giant Claw and is a member of the vaporwave project Death's Dynamic Shroud, which he joined in 2014. In 2010, the year Giant Claw debuted, Rankin launched the label Orange Milk with Seth Graham to release records by underground musicians. Rankin designed the artwork for all the label's releases. Their recordings as Giant Claw include the albums Midnight Murder (2011), Tunnel Mind (2011), Clash of Moons (2012), and Mutant Glamour (2012). The 2014 album Dark Web featured a deconstructed sound collage style that combined dub and beat-driven music. Subsequent releases include Deep Thoughts (2015), Soft Channel (2017), and Mirror Guide (2021). Under the name Death's Dynamic Shroud, Rankin released the solo mixtape Faith in Persona (2021), which received critical recognition for its production.
