In the 1990s, Ghost Town DJ's (or Ghostown DJs) were among the leading exponents of the Miami Bass style. The quartet enjoyed a brief career, punctuated by the hit "My Boo " in 1995. Ghost Town DJ's then fell into anonymity, surviving only in the memory of fans of this fleetingly notorious genre. In one of those twists and turns that music history is so fond of, "My Boo" resurfaced against all odds in 2016 on the occasion of an internet dance video contest. Having gone viral thanks to this Running Man Challenge, "My Boo" once again found favor with the American Billboard and entered the French charts twenty years after its first advent.
