Biography

Gebrüder Blattschuss is a German pop and comedy band from Berlin. The group was formed in 1976 in West Berlin. Members of the founding phase are Jörg Evers, Harald Juhnke junior, Axel Kruse and other musicians. Gebrüder Blattschuss stand for humorous hits with a satirical twist. The band combines music with comedy elements. Their breakthrough came in 1977 with the single "Kreuzberger Nächte". The song reaches number 1 in the German singles charts. It becomes one of the best-known German-language mood songs. The album Kreuzberger Nächte is released in 1978. It brings together the band's best-known tracks. Further albums followed in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
