Biography

Garotas Suecas is a rock band formed in SÃ£oâ¯Paulo in 2005 by Guilherme Sal, Irina Bertolucci, Tomaz Paoliello, Nico Paoliello, and Fernando Freire. The group first released the EP Hey, Hey, Hey, SÃ£o os Garotas Suecas in 2006, followed by Dificil de Domar (2008) and Dinossauros (2009), which earned a MTV Video Music Brasil nomination in 2009. Their debut studio album Escaldante Banda was issued in 2010, reaching the topâ¯10 in Rollingâ¯Stone Brasil and touring major festivals. In 2013 they released Feras MÃticas, featuring Lurdez da Luz, Paulo Miklos, and Kid Congo Powers, and in 2017 issued Futuro do PretÃ©rito. The latest album, 1â¯2â¯3â¯4, dropped in 2023 under Freak and Vampisoul.
