Peruvian producer Gabiboi (born Gabriel Silva Alcorta) first appeared publicly as a beatmaker in the late 2010s, with interviews describing him selling instrumentals as early as 2018 and developing his production craft while based between northern Peru and Limaâs wider music circuit. He broke through to a broader audience in 2022 when a short, meme-adjacent snippet tied to âLimeñito Rapâ spread widely on social media and put his tag and sound on the radar outside his local scene. Rather than staying tied to that moment, he moved into official releases in 2023 with the solo single âKeloke,â then expanded into credited collaborations the same year on âLa Curaâ with MAYLO and Luca Uccelli. In 2024 he continued building a profile as a hybrid producer/artist with âwoyo woyo,â a joint release with Peruvian rapper-singer Jaze. His 2025 run showed a sharper focus on songwriting and featured billing: he issued the solo single âSeñalâ and followed with âNinguna Igual,â a collaboration with JoaquÃn Aramburú and El Joven Paiva.
