Biography

GA-20, a blues band from Boston, Massachusetts, was formed in 2018 by Matthew Stubbs. Their debut single "Naggin' On My Mind" featuring Charlie Musselwhite and Luther Dickinson was released under Colemine Records imprint Karma Chief Records. The band's first album Lonely Soul debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Blues Chart in October 2019. GA-20 released albums including Live Vol. 1, which reached Number 1 on the same chart in September 2020, and Try It...You Might Like It: GA-20 Does Hound Dog Taylor in August 2021. The band won Boston Music Awards for Blues Artist of the Year from 2019 to 2024. In July 2024, Josh Kiggans replaced Tim Carman on drums, and Cody Nilsen took over lead vocals and guitar following Pat Faherty's departure.
