Biography

Future Breeze, a German electronic music group, was formed in Essen in 1995 by DJs and producers Markus Boehme and Martin Hensing. Known for their eclectic music style that spanned various electronic genres, they contributed significantly to the trance and dance scenes of the 1990s and early 2000s. The duo secured their first record deal in 1995 and achieved an early success with the single "Read My Lips" in the German Dance Charts. Their breakthrough came in 1996 with the international hit "Why Don’t You Dance with Me", which propelled them into the global spotlight. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Future Breeze released their debut album Why? (1997) and notable tracks such as "Smile" (2000) and "Heaven Above" (2002). They also collaborated with other artists, notably remixing Sash!'s "Encore une fois" in 1997, which reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2001, Boehme and Hensing formed the dance production group 4 Clubbers with Bernd Johnen and Michael Mind, releasing a successful remix of Robert Miles' "Children". This remix topped the European Dance Charts and reached number 39 in the German Top 100. Future Breeze continued to release music into the 2000s, including the single "Out Of The Blue" in 2004 and their sophomore album Second Life in 2005.
