Fulvio Sigurtà is an Italian jazz trumpeter, flugelhorn player, and composer who was born in 1975. He began playing the trumpet at an early age and received a classical diploma from the Conservatorio Luca Marenzio in 1998. Sigurtà achieved professional recognition after studying jazz under Paolo Fresu and completing a Master with honors at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is famous for a musical style that has led to collaborations with artists including Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter, and the Unknown Rebel Band. In 2011, he was named Best New Talent at the Italian Top Jazz referendum. His discography includes the studio recordings Conversations (2007), Coincidence (2010), House of Cards (2011), and The Oldest Living Thing (2015).
