Rob Wilson, known professionally as Fresh IE, was born in 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is a Christian hip hop artist and ordained minister who initially ran the Joshua House drop-in center and Education Direction Inspiration for Youth (EDIFY) mentorship program at Waves of Glory Church. Fresh IE's music career began with the release of The Revelation in 2000. His breakthrough came with the album Red Letterz, released in 2003 under Red Sea Records, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2004 for Best Rock Gospel Album. Fresh IE continued to release notable albums including Lockjaw (2008) and City of Worship (2012). He founded Kingdom Music Inc. in 2006 and has won several GMA Canada Covenant Awards, including Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year for "World Vision" in 2006.
