Frau Potz, a punk rock band from northern Germany with roots in Husum, was formed in 2007 by Felix Schönfuss, Hauke Röh, and Jens Balkowski. Known for their fast-paced hardcore punk style and politically charged lyrics, Frau Potz's music often draws comparisons to Turbostaat. Initially active through sporadic concerts and song releases, the band's early activities were limited due to Schönfuss' involvement with Escapado. Frau Potz gained traction after Escapado disbanded in late 2011, becoming the main project for its members. Their debut album, Rejects Thankfully, released in February 2012, received significant attention and was featured as Album of the Month in the music magazine Melodie und Rhythmus. Following Kerli Kawumski's departure, the band announced an indefinite hiatus in July 2013 . Despite this, Frau Potz made a notable appearance at their label Delikatessen Tonträger's farewell concert in May 2015, with Schönfuss confirming the band's potential future activity.
