Gospel and pop singer and businessman Florybert Senge Kisanga, aka Flory Red Pen, was born on July 27, 1989, in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. He began singing at the age of ten in the church choir, and was taught the guitar by a neighbor in exchange for services rendered. Just as he was making a name for himself, he left Congo in 2013 to pursue a career in Kenya. There, he met Congolese artists who accompanied him and enabled him to record his first single "Uzuri Wako". His acoustic style and distinctive voice made him a revelation with his tracks "Salama" or "Nani Kama Wewe" in 2017. In 2018, he released his debut album Nipokee, buoyed by the eponymous single or "Peke Yangu". He releases several singles including "Maimuna" (2019) and "Tabamassu" (2019). In 2020, the Faithful God album is released. The love song Promise (2021) is released. Flory Red Pen creates his own RedPen Music label, and launches his Kwetu International clothing label in 2022. In 2023, he gives an acoustic concert entitled "A moment with God".
