Biography
Filippos Pliatsikas (born August 13, 1967) is a Greek musician and songwriter from Athens. In 1989, Pliatsikas co-founded the rock group Pyx Lax and served as its lead singer and main composer. The group released recordings including "I Palies Agapes Pane Sto Paradiso" and "Monaxia Mou Ola". Pliatsikas released his debut solo album Ena Vrochero Taxi in 2002 before the band became inactive in 2004. Pliatsikas released solo albums including Ti Den Emathe O Theos (2005) and the platinum-selling Omnia (2007). In 2009, Pliatsikas released the album Ballarines Epitreponte and toured European cities such as London and Amsterdam. Pliatsikas released the digital album Tin Alithia Na Po in 2010. Pyx Lax resumed activity in 2011 for a reunion tour, including a performance for 80,000 people at the Olympic Stadium in Athens. Pliatsikas released the album Prosoxi Sto Keno in 2012.
