Biography

Fear From the Hate is a Japanese trancecore band from Tokyo, formed in 2008 by the bassist Hiro and the guitarist Kouichi. The band’s musical style blends screamo and metalcore with elements of Eurodance. After multiple lineup changes, the formation solidified in 2011 with the vocalist Lidy, the guitarist Taro, and the drummer Tomoya alongside the founding members. In 2010, the group performed at the Scream Out Fest and the Geki Rock Tour. Following the 2009 demo There is no reply, It was a worthless corpse / Sign of a ruin, the band released its debut EP, Cursed Screamers For All The Frozen Tears, in 2010. In March 2011, the group signed with Garimpeiro Records and issued the single “Paint a Trip Party”. Their debut studio album, Birthday of 12 Questions, was released on 14 August 2011. Subsequent releases include the EPs 1961 (2013) and Returners (2014).
