Biography
Fang Island was an American indie rock band formed in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2005. They initially consisted of Philip Curcuru, Chris Georges, and Pete Watts. They later added Jason Bartell, Marc St. Sauveur, and Nicholas Andrew Sadler. Fang Island released the EP Day of the Great Leap (2006), followed by the EP Sky Gardens (2008). Their debut album Fang Island was released on February 23, 2010, and included the song "Daisy", which featured in commercials for the MTV show The Buried Life. The band performed at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, in 2010. Their second album Major was released on July 24, 2012.
