Everyone Dies in Utah, a post-hardcore band from Temple, Texas, was formed in 2008. The group initially consisted of Danny Martinez, Trey Golden, Justin Morgan, and Dustin Dow. Their first performance took place at a Battle of the Bands competition. In 2009, they released their debut EP I Hope You Know This Means War (2009). The following year, they signed with Tragic Hero Records and released their first album, Seeing Clearly (2011). Their second album, Polarities (2012), was released, followed by Neutral Ground (2013). The band toured extensively. They parted ways with Tragic Hero Records in 2014 and signed with inVogue Records in 2015, releasing their self-titled album Everyone Dies in Utah (2016).
