In Fear and Faith was an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2006 by members Davey Owens, Mehdi Niroomand, Tyler McElhaney, Jarred DeArmas, Michael Guy, and Ramin Niroomand, the group derived its name from a Circa Survive song. Their debut EP Voyage was released in 2007 via iTunes, attracting the attention of Rise Records, which signed them the following year. In Fear and Faith's first full-length album, Your World on Fire, reached number 193 on the Billboard 200 in January 2009. The band underwent numerous lineup changes over the years, with vocalist Scott Barnes being the only member to perform on all studio albums. Their second album, Imperial, was released in 2010 and charted on the Top Heatseekers and overall Indie charts in the US. In 2011, they released the EP Symphonies. The band's self-titled third album followed in 2012.
