Biography

Paris-born rapper Espiiem first came to prominence with his first group, Cas de conscience, which lasted three years but ended when one of the members, Homme de L'Est, died. In 2009, he joined The Hop, an eight-piece band including a brass section, with whom he released a seven-track EP of the same name. Venturing out on his own, he released the L'Eté à Paris EP in 2012, followed by Haute Voltige in 2013, with its deeper, more ethereal ambiences. A year later, a limited edition of 500 copies of Cercle Privé was released, heralding a new opus, Noblesse Oblige, which came out in November 2015.
