Edwin Erick Elera Salinas, born 9â¯Decemberâ¯1983 in Villaâ¯MarÃaâ¯delâ¯Triunfo, Lima, Peru, is a Peruvian actor and singer whose career began in the early 2000s as a member of the boy band Jovenâ¯Sensación and later the group Hermanosâ¯Yaipén. After leaving the group, he formed Erick Elera & Orquesta, recording the song "Niña amada (Salsa Version)" in 2009. That year, he also issued his solo album, Lola, through La Fabrica Records, which included the hit "Amor" and was dedicated to his mother. Throughout his career, Erick Elera has collaborated with notable Peruvian artists such as Maricarmenâ¯MarÃn and Tommyâ¯Portugal, and has acted in popular television series like Alâ¯Fondoâ¯Hayâ¯Sitio and Deâ¯Vueltaâ¯Alâ¯Barrio.
