Biography

Emotional Oranges, an American R&B pop duo from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 2017 when Azad "A" Right and Vali "V" Porter met at a bar mitzvah. Their first single "Motion" was released in an online music platform in May 2018 and later became the theme song of RuPaul's Drag Race. The duo released their debut mixtape, The Juice: Vol. I, in May 2019 through Avant Garden Records and Island Records. They embarked on their first headline tour, The Chill, Baby Chill tour, performing across the United States and Europe. In November 2019, they released their second mixtape, The Juice: Vol. II. Emotional Oranges collaborated with various artists, including Channel Tres and Becky G, and released notable singles such as "All That" and "Down to Miami". Their third mixtape, The Juicebox, was released in June 2021, featuring collaborations with Vince Staples and Kiana Ledé. Their studio album, Oenjii, was released in May 2025.
