Emily Roberts, born on May 21, 1993 in Hamburg, Germany, is a German singer. She began playing guitar at age 13 and wrote her first songs at 15. Her breakthrough came with the release of her EP Lion's Heart in 2016, which included the single "#santaclara", featured in a Christmas advertisement for a discount store. In 2018, Roberts released her first album, Crying Over Spilled Milk. Her remix of "Bitter Sweet Symphony" by Gamper & Dadoni spent 13 weeks on the German Airplay chart and 21 weeks on the Austrian chart. This success led to a contract with RCA Germany, under which she released "In This Together". In 2022, she participated in the German selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with "Soap", finishing last in both jury and televote rankings.
