Timebelle is a pop band formed in Switzerland in 2015. The band is best known for their 2017 Eurovision Song Contest entry âApolloâ. Originally formed as a five member boyband â Samuel Forster (drums), Emanuel Daniel Andriescu (keyboards), Rade MijatoviÄ (accordion), Christoph Siegrist (guitar), and Sándor Török (bass) - while the members attended the University of Bern, the band featured members from Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Germany, and Switzerland. Early in their career, their producer suggested the addition of Miruna MÄnescu as the bandâs lead vocalist. In 2015, Timebelle attempted to enter the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with the song âSinging About Loveâ, but ultimately lost the Swiss national final. âSinging About Loveâ was taken from their 2015 EP Desperado. While the band was reduced to a trio â MÄnescu, Andriescu, and Forster â they won the Swiss national final with âApolloâ and represented Switzerland in the 2017 Eurovision contest. They placed 12th in the second semi-final.
