Biography

real name Brice N'Wolé, Ivorian rapper Elow'n was born on December 5, 1990 in Zokrodépié, in the west of Côte d'Ivoire. As a child, he spent his school vacations at the pan-African village Ki-Yi in Abidjan, alongside his uncle Boni Gnahoré, a leading figure in Ivorian music. He rose to fame as a member of the group Kiff No Beat, formed in 2009, which became a household name thanks in part to its victory in the televised hip-hop competition Faya Flow. In 2020, after six studio albums, the group split up, and Elow'n launched his solo career with the single "Demain y'a pas cours", followed by tracks such as "Doucement oh!" and "Marie-Pierre". He also collaborated with other artists, notably on "Couchez-vous" with Suspect 95, "On va t'attraper" with Josey, and "Ropero" with Black M. In 2022, he released his first solo album, Le Retour de la Pierre. Since 2021, he has organized the annual Bia Festival in his hometown of Aboisso, attracting over 6,000 people for the first edition.
