Singer and influencer Doupi Papillon was born in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. He made his name on TikTok in 2020, spearheading the "Little People Movement". Imitating the swag movement of the 2010s, in 2020 comes the derivative. Originally a joke about the "wicked villains of Cocody", it became a fashion phenomenon. Doupi Papillon created a choreography to the 3Xdav song "C'est God, En haut", which went viral on the short video platform. Stars such as Didi B took up the dance, and the movement exploded in 2022. Doupi Papillon's success explodes, and in early 2023 he releases the clips "Chebaba" (feat. 3Xdav, Ste Milano, Tazeboy), which exceeds eight million views, and " Tchoutchou Kpangor ". He returns in 2024 with the track " Ãa sort" featuring Ste Milano.
