Eli Keszler, born in Brookline, Massachusetts, is an American percussionist and composer. He began learning drums at age eight and composing his own music by 12. In 2008, he released his first EP Clermont and album 1-5. Known for his complex drumming style and sound installations involving piano wire, Keszler's work often integrates visual elements such as drawings and screen prints. His notable albums include Oxtirn (2010), Cold Pin (2011), and Last Signs of Speed (2016). He has collaborated with artists like Tony Conrad, Jandek, and Oneohtrix Point Never, and his work has been featured in exhibitions at the Victoria & Albert Museum and The Kitchen. Keszler's compositions include the soundtrack for the 2021 horror-thriller The Scary of Sixty-First.
