Elâ¯Trono de México is a regional Mexican band formed in 2004 in Santo Tomás de los Plátanos, Estado de México, by Everardo Marcelino Ãvila (lead vocals, musical director), Carlos Enrique MartÃnez Cruz (drums), Luis Alberto López Terán (percussion), Duani Marcelino Ãvila (vocals/keyboards), and presenters Yovany Bautista Morales and Odilón Ãvila Marcelino. They began under the independent label Skalona Records and released their debut album Soy Dos Veces Mexicano in 2004, followed by El Pesudo (2005), El Muchacho Alegre (2006), and Fuego Nuevo (2007), which produced major hits like âNo Te Apartes de MÃ,â âGanas de Volver Amar,â and âSe Fue.â In 2008, the group issued Cruzando Fronteras and then Almas Gemelas, which became a top-selling album and won them major recognition. Their streak continued with Hasta Mi Final (2009), Quiero Decirte Que Te Amo (2010), Sigo Estando Contigo (2011), A Corazón Abierto (2012), Irremplazable (2013), Que Bonita Es La Vida (2014), Cumpliendo Sueños (2018), and Esclavo y Rey (2021). Between 2022 and 2023, the group released new singles such as âNo valoraste,â âQuiero pero no puedo,â and âSufres porque quieres.â In 2024, they re-recorded âAlmas gemelasâ with Los Primos de Durango and continued performing at major regional festivals. In 2025, El Trono de México returned with the album Concierto en el Auditorio la Guelaguetza, recorded during one of their live performances in Oaxaca.
