Biography

Eight Bells is an American experimental metal band from Portland, Oregon, formed by guitarist Melynda Jackson after SubArachnoid Space disbanded. The group released their debut album The Captain's Daughter on February 19, 2013 via Seventh Rule Recordings and toured extensively. Their second album, Landless, was issued on February 12, 2016. In 2018, the lineup changed to include Alyssa Maucere on bass, Brian Burke on drums, and Melynda Amann on synth and vocals. Eight Bells released their third album Legacy of Ruin on February 25, 2022.
