Biography

Echo Image, a Norwegian synthpop band from Fredrikstad, was formed in 1997 by PÃ¥l Magnus Rybom and Jon-Ivar Berg. Their first EP, Walkout, was released in 1998 through Kvarts Musikk. In 2000, they signed with A Different Drum and Bloodline for US and European releases. The band's breakthrough came with the album Compuphonic in 2001, which peaked at number 28 on the CMJ RPM Charts in the U.S. Notable singles include "Need to Be Proud" (2000) and "Endless Day" (2002). Echo Image accompanied Apoptygma Berzerk on their Harmonizer tour in 2002.
