Biography
Dr Vades are a London-based production duo comprising two brothers, Jay and Kane Busia. Born into a musical family, the two brothers had already begun to establish separate music careers under their respective names of Jay Vades and Dr Kane until in 2014 they decided to join forces as Dr Vades.
In 2015 the duo enjoyed their first taste of success with the track 'Balenciaga', a number previously written and released by Yxng Bane, Kojo Funds and Don Elito. 2017 saw the Busia brothers collaborating once again with Don Elito, releasing 'You Alright Yeah?' and subsequently have also been involved with grime legend Stormzy and other up and coming London artists.
Early in 2019 Dr Vades released the track 'Ringtone', a cleverly constructed rap track based around a ringtone loop. The track immediately went viral on You Tube and has garnered almost 3 million views.
