Biography

Da Beatfreakz are brothers Obi '01' Ebele and Uche 'U1' Ebele from south London. They are a songwriting and production duo. Obi and Uche grew up in a Nigerian-British home, listening to influences like Fela Kuti and Shina Peters. After hearing Dizzee Rascal as teenagers the brothers decided to become rappers. They were invited to work in Miami with producers Cool & Dre and then Trak Starz in St Louis, before returning to the UK to work with the likes of Giggs, Shakka and Mr Eazi. Da Beatfreakz's singles include 'Take Over' with Mr Eazi, Seyi Shay and Shakka and 'Swingin in Da Whip' with Giggs. In 2018 they had UK chart success with the single 'Pumpy' featuring AJ & Deno, Swarmz and Cadet. In 2019 they released the single 'Motorola' featuring Dappy, Swarmz and Deno.
