Biography
DJ Zany is a Dutch disc jockey and producer who was born as Raoul van Grinsven in 1974. He is famous for his contributions to the hardstyle genre and for owning the label Fusion Records. Van Grinsven achieved early professional recognition as a member of the ensemble Shadowlands Terrorists before launching a solo career in 1998 with the single âCautionâ. In 2002, he established the project Donkey Rollers, which performed at the Defqon.1 Festival in 2005. He has performed at major international electronic music events including Qlimax and Sensation Black and placed third at the Dutch Dance Awards in 2005. His discography includes the studio recordings The Fusion of Sound (2008) and Planet Zany (2012). Notable singles include âBe On Your Wayâ (2002), âRock The Beatzâ (2002), and âScience & Religionâ (2005).
