Die Couplet-AG was a Bavarian music cabaret group. They were formed as an expansion of the initial trio "Der Couplet-Wahnsinn," which began performing in 1991 at the "weiÃblauen Kabarettls" in Munich's "Wirtshaus zum Isartal," expanding to a larger lineup in 1993. The group officially renamed themselves to "Couplet-AG" in 1996, the same year they released their first live CD, Und ewig lockt die WeiÃwurst. Die Couplet-AG gained recognition through their cabaret performances on small stages, festivals, and official events across Southern Germany and Austria. Their discography included notable albums such as Tatort Bayern (1998), Heimat-Report (2000), and Pressack Royal (2004). The group received numerous awards, including the Bayerischer Poetentaler in 2004 and the Pasinger Kulturpreis in 2014. They continued to be celebrated for their contributions to Bavarian folk culture and cabaret.
