Biography

xDisciplex A.D. was a Christian hardcore band from Erie, Pennsylvania, formed in 1995. The group initially went by the names xdisciplex and Disciple before changing to xDISCIPLEx A.D. in November 2000 to avoid legal issues with another established band. xDisciplex A.D. was known for their connections with the Buffalo/Hamilton hardcore scene and frequently played in Ontario, Canada. Their early releases included the EPs Lantern (1996) and Scarab (1997). The band released their debut full-length album, Imitation of Love, in 1998 through Goodfellow Records, followed by No Blood No Altar Now (1999), Heaven and Hell (2000), and Doxology (2001). Their final album, The Revelation, was released in 2003 through Triple Crown Records. The band disbanded in 2004, with members going on to form other groups such as Jesus Wept and No Innocent Victim.
