Deshabillz is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in November 1992 by vocalist SHUN. Emerging from the Yokohama scene, the group initially self-produced demo tapes and distributed them at local live venues, gradually building a following. In June 1994, under the production of CHIKA and JEANA of VOGUE and Kuroyumeâs Shin, they released their first album ShinjÅ«sha through TEARS Music. The release, issued simultaneously with BAISERâs debut album, drew attention within the visual kei movement. That same year, they followed with Seishin Ridatsusha, reportedly written in just ten days by SHUN. In 1998, the death of bassist Miwa led to an indefinite hiatus. SHUN later pursued other musical projects before stepping away from music to focus on writing. Encouraged by TEARS Music, Deshabillz resumed activity in 2008 with support from KISAKI and released new material under UNDER CODE PRODUCTION. After renewed performances in 2011 and a full revival in 2022, the band returned to streaming platforms in 2023 with curated best albums. Continuing their legacy, they released the single "Mariana Snail Fish" on April 1, 2026, marking another chapter in their enduring career.
