Biography

Deep Sun, a Swiss metal band from Aargau, was founded in 2006 by brothers Ermes and Eros Di Prisco. Initially known as 1 Hour, they changed their name to Deep Sun upon adding keyboardist Tom Hiebaum. The band released their debut album, Flight of the Phoenix, in October 2013, followed by Race Against Time in 2016. Their third album, Das Erbe der Welt (2019), was produced with Markus Teske and reached number 11 on the Swiss Hitparade and topping the Metal genre charts. In 2022, Deep Sun released their fourth studio album, Dreamland â Behind the Shades, which peaked at number 4 on the Swiss charts.
