Biography
Deadsquad, a death metal band from Jakarta, Indonesia, was formed in 2006. The group initially started as a project by guitarist Ricky Siahaan of Seringai and Stevie Item of Andra and The Backbone. After several lineup changes, including the addition of bassist Bonny Sidharta and drummer Andyan Gorust, Deadsquad released their debut album Horror Vision in March 2009 through Rottrevore Records. The album featured tracks like "Pasukan Mati" and a cover of Sepultura's "Arise". In November 2013, they released their second album Profanatik via Armstretch Records. Notable singles include "Pragmatis Sintetis" (2016), "Paranoid Skizoid" (2021), and "Enigmatic Pandemonium" (2022). The band's discography also includes Tyranation (2016) and Catharsis (2022). Deadsquad has undergone multiple lineup changes, with members including Item on guitars, Kharisma on guitars, Roy Ibrahim on drums, and Vicky Mono on vocals.
