Cochren & Co. is a Dove Award-nominated Christian pop-rock band led by songwriter, pianist, and worship leader Michael Cochren. Born in 1995 and raised in the small, midwestern town of Montgomery, Indiana, Michael Cochren grew up listening to a mix of sacred and secular music. Taking equal inspiration from Americana, soft rock, and the soulful piano-pop of Billy Joel, he began touring Indiana as a 16 year-old in 2011, then officially formed Cochren & Co. in 2014. The group later signed with Gotee Records, the label of fellow CCM artist TobyMac, and released the single "Church (Take Me Back)" in 2018. "Church (Take Me Back)" became a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart, as did the band's follow-up single, "One Day." Nominated for "New Artist of the Year" at the GMA Dove Awards in 2020, Michael Cochren and his band included both of their career-launching hits on Don't Lose Hope, which marked the band's full-length debut album. The album was released in January 2021, earning another Top 10 hit with "Who Can" and reaching number 34 on the Christian Airplay chart with its fourth single, "Grave." Cochren & Co. followed Don't Lose Hope's release with a handful of standalone singles, including the holiday hits "Christmas (What the World Needs)" (which reached number 37 in late 2021) and "This Christmas" (which peaked at number 23 in 2022). In 2023, Cochren & Co. released the album Running Home, featuring the lead single "Parking Lot" (number 30), and followed by The Company Christmas Album in 2024. Later that year, the band released the single "Money Can't Buy" (number 12 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart), followed in 2026 by "What Grace Can Do", and the album Runs in the Blood.
