Dawatcha is a French singer-songwriter of Caribbean origin, influenced by various musical genres such as soul, jazz, funk, kompa, R&B and Afro-Caribbean. In 2023, he made a name for himself with"Papillons", in collaboration with DJ Lil Killa. This track marked a milestone in his career and led him to further explore his musical influences. He continues with Bye, a track featuring Caribbean sounds, before opening 2024 with"Je Sais", produced by DJ Lil Killa and featuring Fencyy. His work blends contemporary rhythms with traditional influences. At the end of 2024, Dawatcha teams up with Priscillia for the track"Si Tu Savais", which gives rise to an acoustic version scheduled for release in early 2025. This project is part of an artistic continuity in which he seeks to refine his musical identity.
