Biography
Alwio, whose full name is Alwio Désirée, is a Guadeloupean artist renowned for creating Néo Zouk, an alternative musical genre fusing traditional zouk with urban sounds such as hip-hop and alternative R&B. Singer, composer and sound engineer, Alwio is also an independent producer, realizing and producing all his projects independently. In 2024, he collaborated with Martinican singer Saa'Turn on the track"Pitchy", illustrating his ability to team up with other Caribbean artists to enrich his musical universe. Alwio describes himself as a "Vagabond made in #Gwada", reflecting his attachment to Guadeloupe and his free spirit.
