Biography
Petit Monsieur is an artist from Guadeloupe and La Réunion, evolving between melodic rap and Caribbean R'n'B. He began making music at the age of 13, working with beatmaker, topliner and sound engineer Made by Nef. Inspired by American music, he first recorded tracks in English before taking a new direction in 2020 thanks to his collaboration with Edifice Records. Petit Monsieur gradually incorporated Creole into his lyrics, paying tribute to his origins. In 2022, he released his first EP, Rèd : Tome 1, marked by a melodic style blending French and Creole. Since June 2023, he has released a single every month, while sharing covers of R'n'B classics on social networks. His musical universe, influenced by his roots and personal journey, is part of an approach he defines as "Caribbean R'n'B".
