David Timothy Dunn, born on May 25, 1984, in Midland, Texas, is an American singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey while studying engineering at Texas Tech University, where he recorded his first album during his senior year before embarking on a year-long humanitarian trip to Africa. In 2009, Dunn released his debut EP David Dunn. His breakthrough moment came when he appeared on the second season of NBC's The Voice. Dunn is known for his work in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) and pop music genres. He signed with BEC Recordings and released several albums including Crystal Clear (2015), Yellow Balloons (2017), and Perspectives (2020). Notable singles include "Overwhelming" (2017).
